Don’t you just hate when something is “suggested reading” but the teacher chooses to assign it, every. single. class.

Books...
I’ve decided to start reading more books, outside of school. I haven’t read a non-school related book since the 9th grade. There’s always so much you have to read for school, kinda takes the fun out of picking up a book and reading it for your own pleasure. But, this year, i’ll start doing it again - new year’s resolution.
Suggestions?

I usually try to stay away from these Law School career counselors because, 90% of the time, it’s a waste of time.
But the guy today was very helpful. I came away with two good connections. Day officially made.

a haven for thought: Months →
rlheilig:
We’ll speak kindly to the new months, just asking for a bit of merry. We’ll address them so dearly and welcome their imminent weeks. We’ll beg of the season their title is known for, just itching for a change in scenery. We’ll beg they don’t let us down—oh, how we will beg. But, we’ll forget…

Virginia beach
when they say virginia beach you expect one thing.
until you actually move here and see it for yourself.
its like living in one of those ghost towns in the old westerns where the wind blows and the tumble-weed rolls across the street.
just 2 and a half more years of this experience left and then i’ll leave purgatory, forever.

Be at peace. Be carefree. Enjoy life for it is far too short and we were far too wonderfully created to waste time worrying about things that are already spoken for and under control.
